Where cast water-etched laminate is built to texture water sheeting directly across its own face, this panel does the opposite job: it sits behind a falling curtain and diffuses the light passing through both, so the water reads as an even glowing field rather than distinct rain-bar streams. The etch is full-surface rather than patterned, which keeps it from throwing a moiré pattern against the motion of the water in front of it.
