Standard float glass carries a visible green tint from its iron content, obvious the moment you look through any real thickness of it edge-on. We spec low-iron float wherever the glass itself needs to disappear — pool coping, reflecting-basin edges, any surface framing a mirror of water where a warm or green cast would compete with the reflection.
